Our group researches into applying quantum physics beyond the microscopic domain, in which it has been successfully tested and confirmed, and into the domain of large systems. We use techniques from information theory, thermodynamics and many-body physics to bridge the gap between the micro and macro worlds, both theoretically and experimentally. We also study the transition between the quantum and classical physics as well as explore the territory going beyond quantum physics into more general probabilistic theories.
